‘ g/liners v2 - generik productions '04 ‘ g/liners is a totally configurable onliners util that supports both dialup/ fossil and door32/telnet based boards. liners.exe - g/liners for dialup/fossil systems (DOS) liners32.exe - g/liners for door32/telnet systems (Win32) oneliner.bat - sample batch file for running either utility gliners.dat - oneliners file gliners.cfg - g/liners configuration gliners.doc - you've probably read it header.??? - default display file NOTE: even if you are running a fossil-based board (like Renegade) in a telnet setup, you still need to use the DOS utility. ‘ setup ‘ g/liners runs mainly off commandline options. the basic setup: liners(32).exe -d being the complete path to your current node's dropfile (eg. c:\bbs\node1\door.sys). the DOS version supports both DOOR.SYS and DORINFOx.DEF, while the Win32 version supports those files in addition to DOOR32.SYS. liners(32).exe -l - run g/liners locally liners(32).exe config - run configuration utility (more below) there are also optional parameters in case you want to override the dropfile defaults: - DOS version - -h - comport to use (eg. -h1) -n - current node (eg. -n1) - Win32 version - -t - telnet mode (must also specify -h) -h - socket handle to use -n - current node (eg. -n1) -w - winserver/wildcat door32 mode you'll probably want to use oneliner.bat to run g/liners. make sure you check it out beforehand! ‘ customization ‘ g/liners comes with several sample setups (header?.zip), decompress them into the current directory if you want to try them out instead of the default setup. or, make your own. the header file is just a standard ansi, and to change the prompts and oneliner positions, use the config utility: g/liners v2 config [a] "add onliner?" prompt : something to add?
